This program is designed to help young athletes currently in grades 5, 6, and 7 improve in strength and speed development for the 2025 football season. The program will begin in early February and run until August 1st. The goal of the program is to help young players prepare for the upcoming football season.

The program will introduce young athletes to the basics of strength and speed training. Athletes be introduced to strength and speed exercises/movements that will help them improve in these areas. Workouts are usually 1-1/2 hours in length and are documented so that progress and improvement can be observed. Daily workouts include a focus on strength training of certain muscle(s) groups and either a plyometric or core/balance focus. The more an athlete can attend, the better results they will observe.

Available sessions are offered 4-5 times a week based off the availability of volunteer monitors. Attendance is up to each athlete, but the more that an athlete can attend, the better the results will be.

This program is being offered by a non-profit organization through cooperation with the Norwin Soccer Club. Workouts will be held at the Nike Site facility on Morris Avenue. This is strictly a non-profit endeavor intending to help benefit the future of Norwin Football by getting youth/middle school players more prepared for High School Football. Any excess funds accumulated from registration will go back to providing strength/speed equipment that will help accomplish this goal.
